1. Project Kickoff & Payment Schedules

Our engagement workflow begins formally once the Client signs a custom Proposal or Scope of Work (SOW) and processes the initial deposit:

• Booking Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (normally 50% unless negotiated otherwise) is required to secure creative timeline slots.
• Milestone Payments: Remaining payments are coupled directly to key review phases (e.g., UI approval, development completion, or launch preparation).
• Late Payments: Accounts carrying unpaid balances for more than 14 business days past invoice dates are subject to project pauses.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights

We respect design ownership and ensure legal clarity upon project delivery:

• Work in Progress: Preliminary wireframes, drafts, and coding iterations remain the intellectual property of Pixel Gear Agency.
• Final Transfer: Once all milestones are settled in full, the exclusive source code, graphic designs, and intellectual rights are transferred to the Client.
• Agency Portfolio Rights: Pixel Gear reserves the right to exhibit the finished case study inside our public agency portfolio, unless an explicit NDA says otherwise.

3. Client Responsibilities

Stunning projects require seamless collaboration. Clients must provide project assets, copies, branding guidelines, and feedback loops in a timely fashion to avoid timeline shifting.

4. Limitations of Liability

While we test our platforms exhaustively, Pixel Gear Agency will not be liable for third-party hosting failures, domain registry problems, or search engine ranking changes caused by subsequent algorithm updates.
